What we cover, and for how long.
Labor warranty
All construction work performed by Dzala General Contractor carries a written warranty terms against defects in workmanship. This covers framing, tile setting, carpentry, and finish work. If a defect is identified within the warranty period, we will return and resolve it at no charge.
Fixture and material warranties
Manufacturer warranties on specified fixtures and materials are passed through to the homeowner. Dzala will assist in documenting and submitting warranty claims for manufacturer-covered defects.
What is not covered
The labor warranty does not cover acts of God, flooding, fire, or damage caused by owner-provided materials or work performed by parties outside Dzala's contract. Normal wear, surface scratches, and damage from improper maintenance are also excluded. Materials supplied by the owner and installed by Dzala are covered for installation workmanship only, not the materials themselves.
How to file a claim
To open a warranty claim, contact Dzala at dzalausa@gmail.com or call (703) 919-1645. Include your project address, a description of the issue, and photos if available. We will schedule an on-site review within five business days and provide a written response on coverage.
