Floor and wall protection
Ramboard, poly dust walls, and masking.
Selective Demolition
Tile, drywall, cabinetry, and fixtures — removed surgically while adjacent finishes stay protected.
At a glance
Selective demolition is the most skill-intensive demo type: removing a tile floor without cracking the adjacent wood, pulling cabinets without damaging the drywall behind them, cutting out a drywall section for a plumbing rough-in without disturbing the adjacent finished wall. Dzala does this regularly as part of phased remodeling projects.
Why Dzala
The value in selective demolition is what does not get damaged. Dzala uses floor protection, dust walls, and careful tooling to remove specific elements without collateral damage to adjacent finished areas.

Frequently asked
Cannot find what you are looking for? Send a question.
In most cases, yes. Older ceramic tile set in thin-set can be removed with oscillating tools and chisels without significant subfloor damage. Tile set in a mortar bed is a different situation — we assess this at the site visit.
